Today was a really really fun day. :)
English - free block for book day rehearsal! :D Yayyyy book day. I think our class seriously rocks.
Chinese - we got to watch Hero! Lu lao shi's so nice right. It's actually not boring, unlike 99% of Chinese movies. Zhihua and I decided that we liked Tony Leung's character (Can Jian was it?), much to the horror of Arias and Zhixin the feminists, who declared that after what he did (had you-know-what with another girl to get his girl jealous), no one in their right mind should like him. I said that I kinda liked Chang Kong too, at which Zhihua said that he was actually quite ugly. Awww.
Zhihua has serious hearing problems! At one point in the show, Maggie Cheung's character Fei Xue (the one who was supposed to get jealous, and duh she did) stabs Can Jian for having you-know-what with the other girl. As Can Jian is dying, he gasps, "Ni wo dou hen chun." which means "We've both been so dumb." for those who don't know Chinese, but then again who wouldn't? Nevermind. Anyway, dear Zhihua heard it as "Ni wo dou hen chou." which means "We're both really ugly."
Zhihua: Erm...Yinfei? Did he just say that they were both really ugly?
Yinfei: WHAT! No he didn't! What did you hear?
Zhihua: Ni wo dou hen chou.
Yinfei: -rofl-
Zhihua: What it's quite true what! The girl's ugly! Although the guy's quite shuai.
In the end, I cleared her misconception. Tsktsk. Look who's calling who an ahma!
PE - floorball! I've decided that it's fun. :) Husena's HILARIOUS. Every time she lands in the wing, she'll start screeching, "I'M IN THE WING! I'M IN THE WING!". And even before she lands in it, she'll be running after the ball, brandishing the stick enthusiastically (and violently) and, yes, yelling that she's in the wing. Occasionally she'll also go, "YINFEI YOU'RE IN THE WING! YOU'RE IN THE WING!" or "STACEY YOU'RE IN THE WING!". When that happens, I (and many others) usually collapse in laughter, clutching the floorball stick or the net for support. Floorball's so funny! Although it landed me in a very exhausted and panting state which gave off the impression that I had just ran a 10-km marathon, but for those who're well aware of my very SAD state of physical health, they'd know that if I had indeed done so, I'd most probably be half-dead by the time I finished. :(((
Maths - HE DIDN'T COME HALLEJULAH. Free block for book day rehearsal again!
Lit - pretty slack.
BOOK DAY AUDITIONS!
409 ROCKS! We really rocked the whole thing. :):):)
Omg I'm so going to miss 409 when we go to RJ. :((( I've never loved a class more before! Pri school needless to say lah. 107/207 wasn't that bad, but nothing beats 309/409. :D I'd put that crocodile thing with the triple three (which is supposed to be a heart) right here, but somehow my posts always get screwed when I put that in. Awww. *heartheartheart* Yeah, that'll have to do.
OMG 409! :)))))))))
The script was fantastic, the props were super-pro, the actors were really into the role (hahaha Leeqi in a skirt! As Zhihua says, blackmail material), the dwarves were adorable (squeak!), the dance really nice (except for the fact that I was in it), the soundtrack was really suitable for the story, everything was on cue! I lovelovelove our play, nevermind Zhihua's claims that it's lame. I think Daveen and Michelle and Zhimin and Deborah really did a good job coming up with it! The casting was really good too, I think. Siyi's DAMN FUNNY! Mr. Subalatha Alibaba Dejaratnam. LOLZ! And her toilet bowl voicing always makes me laugh like anything.
Nevermind whether we get in or not, I think we were really really good. :)
